Morrilton High School HOSA
Well, everyone, welcome to the other side of me!  Many of you know I teach Medical Professions at Morrilton High
School (you know, my "day" job!).  I teach 10th-12th grade courses such as Medical Terminology, Anatomy and
Physiology, Intro to Medical Professions, Medical Procedures, Pathology and Abnormal Psychology and Medical
Clinical Internship.  I am also the advisor of the professional organization HOSA, or Health Occupations Students of
America.  In this organization, we do many things such as community service projects (collecting candy at Halloween
for the children's home, raising money and donating medicines for the people in Romania, and food drives for the
less fortunate), host guest speakers and have a Fall and Spring social to get to know each other a little better.   This
year, we registered seniors at school so they can vote in this year's Presidential election.  This page is dedicated to
"my other kids".  I am very proud of all of my students.  Last year, I took 23 students to state competition and 9
placed either 1st, 2nd or 3rd.  As a result of their effort, we attended Nationals in Orlando last summer.  Here is a
glimpse into our life at school!  Thanks, for stopping by! (Pictures posted below!)
