Welcome and thank you for taking time for viewing my website. As many of you know, my career originally
started out as a Medical Lab Technician about 14 years ago. However, several years ago, I decided to
make a career change and leave the medical field to become a secondary education instructor (I teach
Medical Professions at Morrilton High School). I absolutely love teaching and I love being off when my
children are off. So far, it is a very rewarding career and I have no regrets regarding my decision.
How I stumbled into photography started merely several years ago after I had my daughter, Shelby. I
longed to preserve every moment of her. And when my son, Brady, was born, that desire became stronger
because I wanted to capture the bond that my two children share as siblings. Then all of a sudden, one
day it hit me! Why not take these desires a little further and create the same things for other families? I
started photographing family members (thanks, Crystal and Jamey! And to you, Tambrey, for not only
letting me photograph your memorable moments, but for also being my biggest fan!) and then it spread to
my friends and co-workers (Ashley has just about let me photograph all the special events in her life since I
met her! Thank you, Ashley, for being my guinea pig!)
I sometimes think of photography as scrapbooking. It's a creative project that has become such a
rewarding "side job" for me. My business has grown so much in the past three years and I can only hope it
continues this journey. Will it become a full time job? I don't know what the future holds. All I can do is sit
back and hope for the best. All I know is that I wouldn't have made it this far without the support of many
of you who are reading this. It is from the bottom of my heart that I wish to thank you all for allowing me
to come into your lives to "Capture those special moments in life".
My husband, Stacy, has also been very supportive of me through all of this. And he was the one who
persuaded me into going digital. ( I was reluctant...what was I thinking?!?!) I have spent numerous hours
at the computer creating collages, editing photos and trying to design this website. He has been very
patient and understanding. Stacy, thank you for being the best friend that everyone dreams of having and
for making me laugh when times got stressful!
Again, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my photos.
May God Bless You All!
~ Jen
